GO FUND ME for Brother Joker and Bombshell

As you know, Brother Joker and his wife, Bombshell, were in an accident recently and need our support! They have no insurance, and they still have 5 kids living at home. Bombshell is recovering from her second surgery, and one of the younger boys, Angel, has a rare disorder in which his blood doesn't clot normally (Hemophilia). There is a Go Fund Me page that is taking donations for their cause. The following link will take you to their page (for Barb and Mark Henry).

Brother Pooch was patched in on 3/27/15 and Brother Roach was patched in on 4/4/15. They are now full patched members of the Bloodrose Motorcycle Club. CONGRATULATIONS!

NEW UPDATES - Deacon's son, Josh; Brother Buff, Brother Ogre, Brother Joker & Bombshell

Deacon's Son, Josh:
Josh was in a motorcycle accident on 6-9-14. Although they tried to save his right leg, they had to amputate it half way down the calf four months later. He finally got his prosthetic on April 15, 2015, and is able to walk without crutches. He is still using the cane that Ogre hand-carved for him as his knee is not able to bend. Although he has a long road ahead of him, we are happy he is standing on two legs again.

Brother Buff:
He is mostly recovered. His leg still hurts at times and he has some limitations, but he is improving everyday and he is riding again on his new motorcycle!

Brother Ogre:
He came out of his accident quite well. But he did have to buy a new motorcycle. He got himself a Harley Davidson Fat Bob so check out the pics in the photo gallery (Ogre on his new bike).

Brother Joker and his wife, Bombshell:
Joker seems to be doing okay. Bombshell not so well. She lost a lot of tissue, muscle, and skin behind the knee on her left leg, so she doesn't have a whole lot supporting the back of her knee right now. We don't know how it will heal or when she will be able to walk again without her brace holding everything in place. They sent her home too soon without a wound vac, so unfortunately she had to go back in for another surgery on 5-7-15 due to infection. Joker got his motorcycle put back together for the most part with help from all the guys ... a big thanks for all you guys and the support you have been giving these two! We will be having a garage sale to help pay for the parts which I will post on the website and facebook, plus I will be posting the gofundme.com page on our website and facebook for anyone wishing to donate to their cause.

Brother Joker and Bombshell Motorcycle Accident

Last Monday, March 30, 2015, one of our brothers and his wife went down on their motorcycle when the vehicle in front of them stopped suddenly. Both went to the hospital with injuries but Bombshell (Barb) had to stay in the hospital the whole week because her left leg was badly injured but thank goodness there are no broken bones... but a lot of broken flesh ... yikes. She is back home now and she is quite the trooper. If you knew Bombshell, you would understand that nothing is going to keep her down even if she has to hobble around. We are so glad she is home. We wish her the best on her road to recovery.

Dean's Rare Cancer - JOIN US at the Fleege Family Fundraiser on Saturday, February 28, 2015, from 1-9pm

COME HAVE FUN FOR A GOOD CAUSE!
Please come to this fundraising event to be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Kikkers Bar and Grill, 1503 Avenue C, Council Bluffs, Iowa 51501, from 1-9 pm. There will be music by DJ "Hound" Robinson, games, raffle, auction, prizes, and snacks. Dean Fleege was diagnosed with a rare cancer called Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) which metastasized throughout his abdomen and in his liver. He had major surgery in October 2012 and has been undergoing monthly chemotherapy treatments since. About a year after Dean's diagnosis, him and his wife were pregnant with twins (a boy, Aiden, and a girl, Addison), but due to complications with both the mother and babies, the twins were born prematurely and the babies did not make it. This family has had a lot of hardships and the fundraiser is being held to help with their ongoing medical bills. For more information, check out the links below:
